We often get asked the question whether we can manufacture a prototype or create a custom cabana. Luckily, we can always answer: Yes! In fact, many of our clients turn to Resort Cabanas because of the unique spaces on their property that require customized dimensions or specific challenges that require innovative solutions.
Commercial Cabanas – Built to Order
As a division of Eide Industries, we have access to some of the industry’s leading Design and Engineering Professionals, who can create a cabana design to address your specific project requirements, and we have a fully equipped 41,000-square foot facility located in Los Angeles, where we can then manufacture your custom cabana.
Our cabanas are built to order, which means that each of our products – a custom cabana or a design from our current line – is built specifically to our clients’ design specifications. We feel that it’s important to point this out for two reasons:
First, when clients ask us about creating a custom cabana, many don’t realize the level of customization that’s available to them even with our pre-designed products, and we want to be sure they’re making the best decisions for their actual needs.
Second, our in-house manufacturing capabilities give us the ultimate level of quality-control, so we can continue to offer superior products that are manufactured to the highest standards.
After all, quality and customization are two of the major differences between commercial-grade cabanas versus lower grade versions. For a deeper dive into why local manufacturing is important, read our post: 5 Questions to Ask Cabana Manufacturers Before Making a Purchase.
A Custom Cabana or Prototype – The Design Process
Whether you’re approaching the design stages with a clear vision for your custom cabana or simply with an idea of the challenges you’re facing, your project manager will guide you through every step of the process. You’ll discuss questions like:
What is driving your preference for a custom cabana as opposed to a pre-designed version?
- Are there unique design specifications to consider, such as an unusual footprint like a circular pool island?
- Are there weather concerns to consider, such as high winds or significant snow? (Note – Your project manager can help to identify the general requirements for your area.)
- If you’re looking to have a prototype manufactured, what is the ultimate goal for the design and what budget requirements should be considered?
