Commercial Beach Cabanas

When purchasing commercial beach cabanas for your property, it’s important that it fits with your brand’s style.  However, it’s even more important to know that it fits with your safety standards.  From ensuring your cabanas are durable enough to withstand your location’s weather to addressing your fire safety concerns, the team at Resort Cabanas works hard to match you with products that perfectly suit your needs.

Fire-Resistance and Commercial Beach Cabanas

Resort Cabanas offers FIRESIST® fabrics by Glen Raven, Inc., which are inherently flame retardant.  This state-of-the-art fabric option passes all of the following flame-retardant requirements (and many more).

  • California State Fire Marshal Title 19.
  • Section 13115. Registration #F-36805.
  • Section 1237. Test Procedure #801.
  • NFPA 701-99 Test Method 2.
  • CPAI-84: Tent walls and roof.
  • UFAC Upholstered Furniture. Class 1.
  • Outside North America: Consult Glen Raven for Specifications.

FIRESIST® yarn uses leading technology to produce fibers that are engineered for exterior applications and formulated for their resistance to flame.  Since the fire protection is an inherent attribute of the fabric, it won’t diminish or wash out during the life of the fabric.

Caring for FIRESIST® Fabrics

For those who choose FIRESIST® fabrics, maintenance and cleaning remains simple.  On a monthly basis, the cabana cover should be rinsed with fresh water and lightly brushed to remove dirt and debris from the surface.  When necessary, it’s suggested to use two ounces of a mild soap, such as Woolite, Dreft, or Ivory, to one gallon of lukewarm water.  Brush the cover with a soft-bristle brush and rinse thoroughly with cold water.

For stubborn stains, add up to ½ cup of bleach to one gallon of water.  Spray the mixture lightly on the fabric, but do not soak the fabric.  Rinse immediately, as prolonged exposure to the harsh chemicals can impact the fabric coating.  This type of cleaning may require re-treatment for restoring water repellency. Glen Raven recommends 303 High Tech Fabric Guard for FIRESIST fabrics.
